There are many lakes within short driving distance from Sun Lakes.
In the fall of 2006, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife rehabilitated several local lakes, including Park and Blue, in an effort to restore and manage them as quality trout fishing waters.
Park Lake
Sun Lakes Resort is located on the north shore of Park Lake. It is a good lake for fishing or water recreation.
Banks Lake
Banks Lake is a short drive up the hill from Sun Lakes. It's a very large lake and is never crowded.
Blue Lake
Blue Lake is very similar to Park Lake. It is spaceous enough for water recreation and also provides good fishing.
Deep Lake
Deep Lake is a relatively small lake. It has pleasant fishing, but is most often enjoyed for it's quiet, somewhat reclusive atmosphere.
Dry Falls Lake
Dry Falls Lake is a small lake reached by a primitive road. Not for swimming or boating, but GREAT for fly fishing.
Jameson Lake
Although it's further away from Sun Lakes than other lakes, Jameson remains a popular fishing destination for many of our guests.
Lenore Lake
Lenore Lake is a popular lake for sport fishing. It is catch and releason only early season and selective gear rules apply. Check the state guide for more information.
